Hammers are a swinging and paint is a flying!

There's nothing like getting your hands dirty. We've been having way too much fun painting and constructing two huge monogrammed letters with our signature tulip. We've also done some serious stenciling on two large columns to add a little dramatic flair to the interior of our store.

Glamorous Glamelias!

Glamelia's date back to the 40 & 50's. Glamelias have this magic and mystique about them because they're so amazing! These gorgeous oversized blooms are crafted from the petals of several flowers resulting in an ultra lux flower. Traditionally constructed from roses and gladiolas, modern day glamelias are made from just about anything. Peonies, calla lilies and foliage are our faves. We have recently finished crafting several different colorful artificial rose glamelias.

Holy Begonias!

Check this out. The Annual Carpet of Flowers in the Grand-Place Brussels, Belgium. Close to a million begonia flowers are used to create this breathtaking spectacle. Craftsmen arrange the carpet by hand directly onto the square’s cobblestones without any soil. Grass and tree bark are also used to provide color. The first Carpet of Flowers was created in 1971 as a way to promote begonias. Each square meter of ground contains more than 300 flowers. Amazing!

Floral Jewelry is a Must Have Trend!

Wearing fresh flowers is no longer just for proms and weddings. A new concept for wearing flowers is a fashion forward trend that is catching on quick. With new products and endless accessories flowers can be glued to any handcrafted wire jewelry. From wrap around arm bands, bangles, rings, cuffs, necklaces, anklets, arm cuffs and hair pins. The possibilities are as vast as the ocean. Wire jewelry can be used again and again and the great thing is whatever you are wearing that day, a coordinating flower can be glued on to give you a polished and trendy look. Our favorite flowers to add are orchids, button mums, hypericum berries, roses and delphinium. I love to glue flowers to dot band-aids and wear them as earrings!
